Ritual Instructions

Items you’ll need:
• The box placed on a clean surface, free of clutter.
• A natural flame (e.g., beeswax candle) to represent fire/purification.
• A bowl of pure spring or filtered water to represent life/flow.
• A small handful of sea salt (earth grounding).
• A feather or light incense stick to represent air/intent.
• Quiet ambient nature sounds (forest breeze, night sky, stream) to support the ceremony.
• The names, if desired, of the energies or objects you intend the box to serve (tarot cards, talismans, ritual tools).

Steps:
1. Centre yourself: take three full deep breaths and release into stillness. Feel the beat of your pulse, the quiet within.
2. Light the candle and say: “By flame of truth, I call the light.”
3. Sprinkle a little sea salt around the box’s perimeter and say: “By earth of stability, I ground this vessel.”
4. Dip a fingertip into the water and gently flick three drops onto the box’s lid, saying: “By water of life, I cleanse the old, I birth the new.”
5. Pass the feather or incense stick through the candle flame (if safe) and wave its smoke gently around and above the box, saying: “By air of breath and breath of air, I fill this vessel with my intention.”
6. Place your hands upon the box and silently (or aloud) affirm:
“This vessel now takes on the charge of my sacred will.
